Class Policy
A deposit of $10.00 per class is required when booking. The full payment is required 1 week prior to the class commencing.

Deposit is transferable but non-refundable if you cancel within 1 week prior to class commencement.
Classes will be cancelled if insufficient numbers are enrolled. A full refund of class deposit will be given.
Requirements lists will be issued at the time when the full deposit is made (two weeks prior to class commencement).
It is important to attend every class as catch up classes are not catered for. However you can book into a Sit & Sew class at the going cost.
For those classes that require a sewing machine, please have your machine in good working order.
We will endeavour to continue to improve our own knowledge and training and offer an interesting variety of classes at very reasonable rates as a service to our clients. It is greatly appreciated if clients can support our efforts by using fabric purchased from this store in the class environment unless special arrangements have been made with staff prior to class. (Then you can go home and repeat the project 100 times using up your stash!)
Social Groups - We pride ourselves on creating a motivating and friendly environment in which you can come and enjoy your craft in the company of others, be inspired and receive assistance if necessary. Our social day sessions enable you to bring your own project, enjoy the company of like minded ladies, have a cuppa and a chat and give yourself some time out. Staff are always on hand to provide guidance or assistance with projects. Social groups are $4.00 per session. This money goes towards costs of tearoom facilities, public liability insurance and electricity. No bookings are necessary. Social groups meet every Wednesday from 9.00am - 12.00 noon or 7.00pm - 9.30pm.
You can work on any type of project. Everyone is welcome!

Creative Embroidery Sewing Group
If you own an embroidery machine and want to learn more about machine embroidery, come along to this group which meets the first Tuesday of every month. Work on an individual project and learn more about your machine. Any brand of machine is OK.
Bookings are Essential ~ 9am - 1pm
Cost: $16.50

Wednesday - Social Sewing Day
Bring along a project of your own - or we can find one for you. Any type of craft is ok - machine or hand sewing, knitting, even crochet. Staff are on hand to assist or teach, if necessary. Drag out some of those UFO's from the cupboard or we can put together a kit to make it easy for you to get started. Enjoy the morning/evening sewing and chatting in the company of like-minded ladies and take some time out for yourself!
Be motivated by those around you and relax with a cuppa!
Sessions 9.00am - 12.00 or 7.00pm - 9.30pm
Cost: Only $4.00 per session.

Sit & Sew Sundays
These days are put aside for you to learn a new skill, finish UFO's or just come and enjoy a sewing day with likeminded ladies. Staff are on hand to offer assistance and tuition if required. Shout yourself a day off and come on in.
Bookings necessary ~ 9.30am - 4.00pm

Creative Sewing Club
Come along to this club which meets the third Tuesday of every month for a demonstration of sewing techniques which you can then go home and use to create the project for yourself. Bring along 'Show & Tell', have a cuppa and a chat and go home with some new skills!
Cost: Free to Club Members       $15.00 to non-members

4D Software Class
Held each third Tuesday of the month (after creative sewing club ~ so why not make a day of it!) 4D Embroidery software is jam packed with endless possibilities. Come along in a guided environment and learn how to use it to it's fullest potential.

March Club Class - Sunday - 2nd March
English Paper Piecing ~ This is one of the original and most peaceful forms of patchwork! Leave the machines at home and come and learn the basics of English Paper Piecing. Class free to club members. (Kit required - Price TBA)

Scrapbbooking and Cardmaking Techniques Class
Monthly class teaching a wide variety of techniques for card making and scrapbooking.
Bookings and Deposits are Essential
Class time: 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Cost: $15.00 (includes kit)

Embroider by Night!
This will be a regular class conducted on the second Thursday night of every month. In each class a technique will be taught which will help you get the most out of your embroidery machine. It will also be a good opportunity to ask our talented staff how you can solve any embroidery problems you have had over the month.
Bookings will be essential!
Class time: 6.30 - 9.30pm

Beginners Patchwork Class
This class is designed to not only teach you how to make a magnificent quilt but to also teach you everything you need to learn about patchwork and quilting techniques. It contains information and knowledge that we have gained over 20 years of tuition with top Australian and Overseas tutors and experience. If you have ever wanted to learn patchwork, now is the time to start. If you have purchased a machine from us in the last 6 months, check to see if your class is free!
Course Cost - $88.00

Course 1 ~ Tuesday nights x 8 lessons ~ 7.00pm - 9.30pm
15 January, 29 January, 12 February (Balance of dates will be worked out with group as course progresses)

Janome Customiser Class
Three hour class ~ Robyn will teach you how to use this software to its fullest potential.
Please your expression of interest together with times that suit and a class date will be advised based on demand.
